The Character Generator is back and functioning for higher level characters!
So far, it cannot do certain multi-class combos, which it will tell you about.
Also, it cannot yet increase thieving abilities for higher level thieves. nor can it do bards.
Sadly, I must go get ready for work, so the rest will have to wait until
I have more time to work on it. In the meantime, feel free to use and enjoy
What it is so far able to do.
For Level One Characters, it is fully functional!
Our character sheets are perfect for printing out for game play.
They have just about anything a player character could need, and don't have any of the information filled in.
It also gives you the choice of choosing a picture for your character (though this can be left blank).
There are currently 20 pictures of each gender to choose from.
Our character generator greatly speeds up the process of rolling up a character, while still allowing you to take an active role in creating your character(s).
Combining JavaScript & CGI, the script takes most of the guesswork out by only offering choices your character qualifies for at each of the 4 steps.
As a player in the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game, I nearly always play a priest/cleric. I like the fact that I can be the saviour for the party, and help keep my comrades alive to protect me another day. :) Unfortunately, I don't get the opportunity to play very often, so I only remember the most basic spells (Cure Light Wounds, Continual Light, etc), and when I need to cast something else, I often had to look it up in the Player's Handbook, wasting valuable game time, and boring the other players who have to wait while I look. One day, I decided there had to be a better way, and voila! The Cleric Spellbook was born!
Aids for Dungeon Masters
We've also developed a couple sheets that should greatly aid the DM in keeping track of the game.
The Tracking PC's sheet will help you keep track of changes to the character that player may be unaware of, as well as letting the DM make some of the rolls that are more appropriate for the DM to roll.
The Monster List includes a Wandering Monster table, as well as a table for listing the monsters your players will encounter in a specific adventure or session, so you don't need to go looking them up if your players encounter them.
I've used them both myself, and they have been a great help to me.
Message Boards & Chat
We also have a message board for AD&D discussion.
